Dean Weiser’s “Professionalism Series” will team with SuSaNi Harris’ “IELS Program #6” to present an insightful discussion by three of our most outstanding alum [Meshach Rhoades of Greenberg Traurig, LLP; Franz Hardy of Gordon & Rees, LLP; Shannon Stevenson of Davis Graham & Stubbs, LLP] and Karen Hester, Executive Director for the Center for Legal Inclusiveness. They will explore whether diverse teams really reach better results for their clients, how legal employers are being impacted by the expectations of major companies who are concerned to have their own legal representation reflect the diversity and inclusiveness of the clients they serve; what legal employers are doing to overcome the impact of implicit bias in the workplace; and what you can contribute as a member of the legal community. Lunch will be provided. Noon to 12:50pm in Room 204.
