On Tuesday, March 10 at noon in room 205, four members of the Boulder County Bench and Commissioner Pamela Patton of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission are coming to speak on "The View From the Bench - Ways for New Attorneys to Improve Their Practice."
Our panel will be:
-- Judge Judith LaBuda,
-- Judge Bruce Langer,
-- Judge David Archuleta,
-- Magistrate Elizabeth Brodsky, and
-- Commissioner Pam Patton of the Colorado Public Utilities Commission.
This will be a lightly moderated event where judges will discuss mistakes they often see new attorneys (and some experienced ones) make in their courtroom. The panel will also offer students pointers on how to improve their practice. We will open the room to questions at the end of the hour. The event is open to the law school, so please share this invitation with friends who are considering taking a clinic or a litigation-oriented practice.
This is one of the last Clinic-sponsored supplemental events for the year, and one we hope will be tremendously helpful for you all. If the panelists are available there may be time to speak with them individually after the event. A non-pizza lunch will be served
Non-pizza lunch will be provided.
