Public interest, project-based fellowships let you to design a job working on an issue you care about at an organization of your choice. They give you the chance to exercise significant responsibility early in your career and lay great groundwork for the rest of your career. The application windows for many project-based fellowships open in mid-summer and close early in the fall. So, it is important to plan and take steps early if you want to pursue these post-graduation options.
This presentation may be of particular interest to current 2Ls and to those 3Ls going into judicial clerkships.
