Law School Success: The First Month

This event has ended.

When Friday, September 5, 2014
10:30 AM - 11:30 AM
Location Room 207
For Students

This is the first in a series of optional workshops designed to support you in your first semester of law school, as you learn what is expected of you as law student. In this session, Professor Amy Griffin and several 2 and 3L students will talk about the many tools, resources, and techniques available to help you succeed academically. How can you read and brief cases more efficiently? How does preparing for class differ from preparing for exams? What is an outline, and should you be working on outlines now? Should you be using study guides, and if so, which ones? The answers are not the same for everyone, but we hope to help you figure out what will work best for you.
