Join faculty, community leaders, and fellow students in a day of public service training. Learn about multiple public service projects that all law students can volunteer with. Examples include the Acequia Water Project (helping low income farmers get water rights), Colorado Lawyers Committee (law firms working on 27 different pro bono projects from immigration to poverty and public benefits to civil rights to community development), Record Sealing with the Women?s Bean Project (helping indigent women clear their criminal records so they can obtain employment), and Consumer Rights blogging, among many others.
Bagels and coffee will be served in the morning and pizza at lunch.
Students may join us for all or part of the day.
