This presentation will (1) define and discuss the concept of our “Identity” in law school and in the workplace, (2) ask the panelists what they did to rise above the pressures and challenges of actively pursuing a career in the public or private sector when their friends/peers were going in a different career direction, (3) discuss what legal employers are looking for when they interview prospective job applicants about “why” they want that particular job, and (4) discuss how they were able to hold onto their values and actively apply them to their work-life.
