Current students and recent graduates are invited to attend the "Art of Networking Workshop" being held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in the Student Commons at the law school. This workshop will be an active, on-your-feet session presented by Caren Stacy, President of Lawyer Metrics, and will answer the age old question "I know I need to network. How do I do it?" Please RSVP to Annie Wills at annie.wills@colorado.edu by September 7 if you will be attending. Attendance is limited. Caren Ulrich Stacy has more than 18 years of experience in lawyer recruiting, professional development, and diversity working with law firms across the country, including Arnold & Porter, Cooley Godward, Weil Gotshal & Manges, McGuireWoods, and Jenkens & Gilchrist. In the last decade, she has facilitated the integration of more than 1,100 new and lateral lawyers and managed 1,500 training programs, 45 retreats and 30 mentoring programs. A noted expert in the field of lawyer development, Caren was awarded the NALP Mark of Distinction for Professional Development and Training in 2009 as a result of her vision, leadership and innovation. In 2010, she was inducted as a fellow in the College of Law Practice Management - an honor awarded to only a few hundred individuals across the country.
