Wednesday Morning Coffee with Keith Collins

Every other Wednesday, the CDO hosts "Wednesday Morning Coffee" with different attorneys from around the area. This casual setting gives students the chance to chat with attorneys in the field and enjoy free coffee and bagels. Keith Collins began his legal career with a focus on criminal law and litigation. Mr. Collins was hired as a Deputy District Attorney after law school. While at the DA’s office, he gained valuable trial experience handling a variety of cases including felonies, misdemeanors and juvenile delinquencies. Keith left the DA’s office to start his own practice in the fall of 2003. Since then, he has managed a successful practice in Boulder focusing exclusively on criminal defense. Keith Collins currently practices criminal law with Collins, Rafik and Jacobson, LLC. He is a BCBA director and co-chair of Raising the Bar, a comprehensive, hands-on program to help new lawyers, or those experienced attorneys who are looking to venture into a new area of practice, make the transition.
