Mr. Larry Pozner of the law firm, Reilly Pozner, whose practice focuses on complex civil and criminal litigation, and specifically on professional malpractice, will be talking with students about the character and fitness portion of the Bar application. The Bar application asks students to report all kinds of personal information from their background to determine that person’s fitness to practice law. Such topics include: criminal history, tax and credit issues, prior lawsuits, drug use, mental health issues, etc. Come find out what you need to know about reporting this type of personal information and find out what the Bar examiners are really looking for. Mr. Pozner has represented many lawyers before the Board of Bar Examiners in his more than 35 years of practice, and he is an expert on this topic. He will also give general insight into the application process.
