First Assignment: Mon 8/25: Read Chapter 1, the Big Picture, in Digital Crossroads (by Neuchterlein & Weiser). This chapter is available on-line at MIT Digital Crossroads. A Google search for “MIT Digital Crossroads” also turns it up. (This book is not mandatory for the course, however, it is recommended (and the paperback version is inexpensive)).

Wed 8/27: Read Chapter 2, The FCC, in Telecom Law & Policy (Benjamin et. al.), pp. 51-66. This is the text book for the course.
