Michael Gheleta was promoted in March 2012 to Field Solicitor, overseeting the Phoenix Field Office of the U.S. Department of the Interior's Office of the Solicitor.

With the assistance of NGOabroad, which matches volunteer?s skills to international need, Phillis Morgan will soon be ?deployed? to Africa where she will advise, advocate and assist poor people in a newly established legal aid clinic. Phillis has been an anti-discrimination and women?s rights lawyer for years.

Robert William Planchard October 14, 2004 Robert William Planchard of Boulder died of a stroke Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004, in Boulder. He was 44. The son of Jerome A. Planchard and Nora Morales Ray Planchard, he was born Jan. 11, 1960, in New Orleans. He married Margot Carleen Outcalt on Aug. 15, 1987, in Estes Park. He moved to Boulder in 1982. Mr. Planchard graduated from the University of Colorado Law School. He was a partner at Faegre and Benson LLC. Mr. Planchard was a member of Warren Village, the Boulder Museum of Contemporary Art, the Colorado Bar Association, the American Bar Association, Esprit Entrepreneur, the Boulder Economic Council and the Emergency Family Assistance Association. He enjoyed his garden. "He will be cherished and missed deeply," his family said. Survivors include his wife of Boulder; his mother of Mandeville, La.; his father of Mason, Ohio; three sons, Sean S. Planchard, Ryan F. Planchard and Kipp W. Planchard, all of Boulder; and two brothers, David J. Planchard of Baton Rouge, La., and Steven C. Planchard of New York. Visitationwill be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crist Mortuary Chapel, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder. A funeral servicewill be at 2 p.m. Friday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 2312 14th St., Boulder. Interment will follow at Green Mountain Cemetery, 290 20th St., Boulder. Contributions may be made in his name to Blue Sky Bridge, P.O. Box 19122, Boulder, CO 80308, or to the family for "Feed the Children" in Nicaragua, care of Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder, CO 80301.
